Project Description

In 2012, Vanguard Energy Partners installed a groundbreaking solar PV system on the inclined South and East portions on top of 60 Wall Street in Manhattan, marking the highest elevated flat panel array in the world at 737 feet above ground. At the time of installation, this array was not only on of the largest in Manhattan but also the tallest flat panel PV array globally. The project required designing a robust racking solution and conducting an extensive search for solar modules with the structural capacity to withstand powerful wind forces on both the front and back. This innovative project showcases Vanguard’s expertise in engineering and commitment to pushing the boundaries of renewable energy technology.
