Project Description
The CPV Backbone Solar project represents a pivotal shift towards sustainable energy. Beyond repurposing a once-underutilized site, it will deliver 245,000 MWh annually of emission-free power, reducing CO2 emissions equivalent to taking 26,000 cars off the road each year. Additionally, the project creates over 200 construction jobs, supports local commerce, and accelerates Maryland’s renewable energy goals, setting a new standard for environmental stewardship and community revitalization.
